The age requirement to join Fern Garden Club is 18 to 100+

The membership fee for Fern Garden Club is $20.00 per year. Sign up and payments are accepted in April & May for the upcoming Fall to Spring sessions.

Membership fees can be submitted in the form of personal check (mailed to PO Box 104, Odessa, FL 33556) Or come check us out at one of our meetings and if you decide to join, you can pay via cash or check and become a member. Memberships paid prior to the start of the year will have their name added to our membership book and will be included in our emails.

Meetings are held September through June, the first Thursday of the month (unless otherwise noted) at Keystone United Methodist Church (Inside the Fellowship Hall) 16301 Race Track Road, Odessa, FL 33556 

Refreshments/brunch begins at 9:30am and meetings start at 10:00am

Each monthly meeting is set up and coordinated by current members who prepare coffee and refreshments/brunch. Each meeting has a scheduled speaker with a presentation on a variety of subjects and specialities related to plants and gardening. (See Speakers for more info)

The Fern Club president also discusses current club business, financials and happenings within the club and community.

Toward the end of the meeting, there is a plant raffle (each attendee receives a raffle ticket upon arrival). Tickets are randomly drawn and many attendees end up taking home a new plant or garden item. 🪴

**Members that bring in a plant or garden item for the raffle, receive an extra raffle ticket. 

 Every person who joins and becomes a member is expected to get involved and volunteer on a committee one month out of the year (September through June). Each committee is comprised of 8 to 10 members and their job is to bring in a food item, set up table cloths and coordinate food and coffee during that month's meeting. All members work together fabulously and efficiently! It's a wonderful way to get to know others and have fun in the process. 🌿
